Prayer for the week
Keep us, good Lord, under the shadow of your mercy
in this time of uncertainty and distress.
Sustain and support the anxious and fearful,
and lift up all who are brought low;
that we may rejoice in your comfort
knowing that nothing can separate us from your love,
in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.
This Week at All Saints
Changes due to COVID-19 (updated 23/09):
All Saints is now open for some Sunday services (please see latest newsletter and/or Worship page for more detail);
For these services, due to social distancing, the congregation size will be limited. If you would like to attend, Government and Church of England guidelines require you to wear a face mask. Please could you also, if possible, bring a copy of the service sheet with you;
Most Sunday services continue to be broadcast at 10.30am, using Zoom (again, refer to latest newsletter and/or Worship page for more detail)
On most Sundays, at 4.00 pm, there will be a short, gentle, reflective Zoom Service (please see latest newsletter and/or Worship page for more detail);
All Saints’ Church is open for two hours on Mondays and Thursdays, from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm. People are able to sit (self-distanced) quietly in the Lady Chapel for prayer and reflection, for up to 15 minutes. Numbers at any one time will be limited.
Please contact the Parish Office for enquiries.
As churches have started to re-open, the need for pastoral letters has reduced. Therefore, for now, these have ceased. Previous pastoral letters can be found below.
Rev David Ford has also made his sermons, since March 2020, available. These can be viewed on our dedicated Sermons
