The Listening Service 

Many of us know from our own experience as young people or as parents that it isn't easy to be a child or young person today. The Listening Service is a brilliant scheme that enables youngsters in school to be linked to appropriately trained adults who are prepared to spend time regularly with them, just listening.

We all know what a difference it makes when someone listens to us properly without either judging us or offering us advice we don't need. The Listening Service offers precisely this. Through listening sensitively to our young people it is possible to prevent the ordinary challenges of childhood and adolescence from sparking much deeper, long lasting and more difficult to address problems from emerging.
